About Kowalsky Kustoms
Kowalsky Kustoms is located near MacGregor, Manitoba, Canada – just 70 miles west of Winnipeg on the #1 Trans Canada Highway.
Kowalsky Kustoms started out as a repair shop for 30’s cars specializing in floors, firewalls and top chops. Now, with the addition of an english wheel and 24 inch powered bead roller, their capabilities have been enchanced and expanded.
The first phantoms produced were the tubs – Model ‘A’ 2DR, 1934 2DR and 1934 4DR. Then came the “400’s”. A 1932 B-400 for Leland Dockery from Trussville, Alabama. This was followed by a 1932 B-400 for Gary Mussman from Alexandria, Nebraska. After that came a 1932 B-400 and 1933 C-400 for Everett Gray of Peoria, Illinois. All of the above bodies were original steel sedans with modifications.
Next in the planning are completely fabricated bodies similar to the Marcel Delay built roadsters. These will be offered with a kustom frame – featuring high kickup in the rear for a low profile. No suspension will be attached allowing builders to use any components they wish.
Kowalsky Kustoms travels to several events during the year, the main one being the Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky.
